The impact of the Artificial Intelligence Act on public administrations

The recent approval of the Artificial Intelligence Act opens the door to a new scenario in the European Union for the development and use of this disruptive technology. Public administrations are expected to play a leading role as providers and deployers of artificial intelligence and as guarantors of compliance with the European regulation. This article provides a first overview of the content of the Artificial Intelligence Act from the perspective of Spanish public administrations.
